The company operates with a long-term mindset, strong institutional partnerships, and a small, highly capable team where individual contribution truly matters.The RoleAs an AI Application Engineer, you’ll build and operate production-grade LLM systems used directly by consumers.This is a hands-on engineering role focused on real-world AI applications, not research or internal tooling. You’ll work across backend, LLM orchestration, and deployment, helping design systems that are fast, reliable, and safe at scale.You’ll have significant ownership, work closely with senior engineers and founders, and contribute to core architectural decisions.What You’ll Work OnConsumer-facing LLM chatbot systems with real-time performance requirementsBackend services and APIs supporting high-volume user interactionsLLM pipelines (including RAG) and conversation logicSafety, monitoring, and reliability mechanismsDeployment, scaling, and performance optimisationKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and deploy LLM-based applications in productionOwn features end-to-end, from idea to deploymentSolve latency, scalability, and reliability challengesCollaborate on system architecture and technical directionTake initiative, identify problems early, and propose solutionsMust-HavesStrong Python development experienceHands-on experience with production LLM systemsBackend development experience (e.g. FastAPI)Experience deploying services using Docker and cloud infrastructureExperience working on user-facing productsNice-to-HavesExperience with consumer-facing chatbotsExposure to high-traffic or low-latency systemsFamiliarity with LangChain or similar frameworksExperience in regulated or health-related environmentsI'm looking for smart, self-directed engineers with a massive growth mindset, who want to get their hands dirty and get stuck in.
