Position OverviewWe are looking for a talented Business Data Analyst (frontend) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and visualisations that empower data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights—particularly in the areas of clinical research, supply chain, and commercial operations.In addition, you will support the migration of front-end analytics applications and dashboards from legacy platforms into modern environments, ensuring seamless functionality, consistent user experience, and adherence to corporate standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain visually compelling and user‑friendly Tableau dashboards and reportsSupport the migration of front-end dashboards, analytics applications, and reports from legacy platforms (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, Tableau Server versions, or internal tools) to modern Tableau Cloud or other target platformsRe-engineer and optimise existing dashboards during the migration to improve usability, performance, and visual designCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data visualisationsEnsure data accuracy and consistency by validating data sources and applying best practices in dashboard developmentOptimise dashboard performance and user experience for large-scale datasetsMaintain documentation and version control for Tableau workbooks and related assetsWork closely with backend data teams to ensure clean, trusted, and well-structured datasets are available for reportingQualificationsEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Frontend profile with a little bit of backend experience in SQL / Snowflake3+ years of experience in a data analytics, data modeling, or data engineering role.3+ years proven experience with:Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/CloudSQL for data querying and transformationData storytelling and UX/UI principlesVersion control tools (e.g., Git)Snowflake, dbt, or other data stack toolsPreferredFamiliarity with other BI toolsExposure to AI-powered analytics or the integration of machine learning models into dashboards (e.g., predictive insights, natural language querying)Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry is a plusUnderstanding of data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, GxP)Experience participating in or leading BI platform migrations is a strong plusSoft SkillsExcellent analytical thinking and attention to detailStrong communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus)Ability to work cross-functionally in a global, matrixed organisationProactive mindset with a passion for data visualisation, user experience, and continuous improvementIf you have the skills and experience for this opportunity, then please apply or email Loren your CV today to loren.cardy@hayburysearch.com.
