A Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer is required to join an exciting new virtual bank (start-up) based in Contral London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-moving, high-growth business where data is central to decision making, product direction, and operational performance.This Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer will act as the bridge between analytics, data engineering, and business intelligence, ideal for someone who enjoys turning raw data into trusted reporting models and then building dashboards that genuinely drive action. You’ll take ownership of analytics modelling using dbt, ensuring business metrics are clearly defined, consistent, and production-ready.You will also play a key role in designing and delivering high-quality dashboards in Power BI and Tableau, working closely with teams across Product, Finance, Operations and Leadership to support strategic planning and performance reporting.Key Skills & Experience Required:Previous experience in similar Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer roles, preferably in Finance / Banking industry.Strong SQL skills, with experience writing maintainable and scalable queriesProven experience using dbt in a production environment (including testing and documentation)Strong understanding of data modelling concepts (fact/dimension tables, star schemas, metric modelling)Hands-on experience building dashboards using Power BI and TableauExperience working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or RedshiftConfident working with stakeholders to define KPIs and translate requirements into clear reportingExperience using version control tools such as GitHub and modern analytics workflowsComfortable working in regulated or data-sensitive environmentsFor this Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer, they are offering a salary of up to £60,000 + great benefits + annual bonus, and is working Monday - Friday at their office in Central London.As the Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining a clean analytics layer, improving data trust, and shaping how the organisation uses data to make better decisions.This is a great opportunity where you’ll have real ownership, visibility, and the chance to shape how data is used across the organisation.To apply for this Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer role, please send your CV to Jennifer Palmer at IT Recruitment Solutions.
