Data Engineer – Azure Investment Firm | London (Hybrid) | PermanentA leading investment organisation is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to support the build and optimisation of a modern cloud-based data platform, working across integration, analytics, and reporting initiatives.Responsibilities:Design, build and optimise Azure-based data pipelines and data platforms.Support delivery of data integration, reporting and analytics projects.Work closely with architects, developers and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.Ensure data quality, governance and traceability across the data lifecycle.Contribute to continuous improvement of the cloud data environment.Experience:Strong experience across the Azure data stack (ADF, ADLS, Databricks, Synapse, Azure SQL, Power BI).Advanced SQL and experience building end-to-end data pipelines.Experience with Python/PySpark and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Git).Understanding of data modelling, governance and data quality frameworks.Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and business teams.A great opportunity to join a growing technology function delivering large-scale data transformation.
