You’ll help us connect systems, streamline data flows, and make data accessible for analysis and reporting, ultimately supporting better outcomes for our patients, members, and customers.As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for:Implementing data flows to connect operational systems with analytics and BI platformsDocumenting source-to-target mappings to ensure clarity and consistencyRe-engineering manual data processes to enable scalability and repeatabilitySupporting the development of data streaming systemsWriting ELT scripts and code to optimise performanceBuilding reusable business intelligence reportsCreating accessible, well-structured data sets for analysisYou’ll be a skilled and enthusiastic Data Engineer with a strong foundation in integration and data modelling.You’ll be confident solving data challenges and communicating your ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.To succeed as a Data Engineer we’re looking for:Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud database platforms like Azure SQL Database or SnowflakeProven ability in performance tuning and relational database design for BI solutionsExperience working with diverse stakeholders including product owners, architects, and third-party suppliersDesirable skills:Experience with on-premise platforms like MS SQL ServerKnowledge of data migration strategies from on-premise to cloudAbility to document and communicate technical design proposalsExperience with DataOps practices including automated testing and pipeline optimisationUnderstanding of data governance including GDPR, data masking, and securing sensitive datasetsHelping you feel good.We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.
