We’re partnering with a leading organisation seeking a Snowflake specialist to help modernise and scale their data capability.This is a delivery-focused role where you’ll shape cloud data architecture, lead migrations, and build high-performance data pipelines that directly support business-critical decision making.The OpportunityYou’ll take ownership of Snowflake environments from design through to optimisation, ensuring data is structured, accessible and engineered for performance.Working across technical and business teams, you’ll translate complex requirements into scalable, resilient data solutions that support analytics, reporting and operational insight.Your remit will include:Architecting and optimising Snowflake data platformsLeading data ingestion, transformation and consumption strategiesDelivering complex data migrations into SnowflakeDesigning robust data models and warehousing solutionsBuilding and maintaining batch and streaming pipelinesDriving best practice across modern data tooling and ELT frameworksPartnering with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with commercial objectivesWhat You’ll BringStrong hands-on Snowflake engineering capabilityExperience operating within retail banking or financial services environmentsDeep understanding of data warehousing principles and modelling techniquesAdvanced SQL expertise and practical experience with ETL/ELT processesExperience working within AWS cloud environmentsA track record of delivering successful Snowflake migration programmesConfidence engaging with business users and translating technical concepts clearlyWorking ModelHybrid role with 2–3 days per week onsiteTravel across the UK required to support client deliveryThis role would suit a technically strong, delivery-oriented Data Engineer who enjoys solving complex data challenges within regulated environments.Aimtech Recruitment is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
