We need timely, accurate and scalable financial data to optimise processes and business decisions inside the company.Job DescriptionDue to continued and rapid growth, we’re on the hunt for a Senior Analytics Manager to join us in Treasury, leading the analytics function in our Ledger and Safeguarding teams. The role is located in Shoreditch, London.What You’ll Be DoingLeading a team of 2+ analysts responsible forCurating datasets, surfacing metrics, sizing opportunities, and deep dive analysisBuilding and maintaining critical data pipelines and dashboardsPerforming data reconciliations, hunting down and explaining discrepancies, and building controls to automate these Liaising with FX, Liquidity and Operations teams to understand how to improve your teams’ processes to achieve lower costs and risks and these areasYou’ll be expected to help stakeholders shape and understand what they want and need, and to help the team shape their work to fit that needYou’ll be hands on with your team, leading by example and demonstrating best practiceWho You Are4+ years experience as analyst or analytics engineerEvidence of coaching other analysts in their development and the desire to progress into a manager role Strong analytical abilityMathematical background with a solid grounding in statisticsAdvanced SQLPython/RAble to write clean code, build efficient data pipelines, and coach these behaviours in othersProven stakeholder management skillsDemonstration of impact/going above and beyond basic role requirementsDesirableFamiliarity with DBTData modelling in a warehouse contextExperience working in a highly-regulated and audited environmentExperience working with Financial data and ledgersSome important stuff we would like you to knowTo meet our regulatory obligations as a licensed financial services company, Wise needs to conduct background checks on all new hires, which in the Finance team includes Criminal and Credit checks.
