If this resonates as a Lead Data Analyst, this is a great opportunity for you.Here’s what you will do The Lead Data Analyst/Data Product Lead role ensures alignment for our clients’ data and analytical outcomes, enabling their organisation to achieve its strategic business vision. Data has become the key driver for business strategic decisions and delivering insight, across our private and public sector clients. The role will support our client's data & technical transformation journey by bridging the gap between the technical landscape, data implementation, and business environment.Hours This is a permanent role within our Technology function. At Credera, we operate a flexible hybrid working model. This requires 3 days per week working onsite - either at client site (as required) or in your local Credera office (London, Manchester, Leeds or Newcastle). To meet our client's needs, you will be security clearable.ResponsibilitiesLeads delivery for analytical outcomes on clients. Owns the analytics delivery plan within a broader data platform or data programme.Lead teams of analysts, data engineers and analytical engineers to deliver end-to-end outcomes that may include technical implementations of data workflows, implementations of analytical services and platforms, or delivery of new reporting or intelligence assets.Set clear standards for requirements, documentation, code quality, version control practices, peer review, and release management.Partner with client stakeholders (Product, Ops, Finance, Risk, etc.) to prioritise work, manage expectations, and drive adoption.Run workshops to elicit requirements, clarify definitions, map processes/data dependencies, and align teams on “what good looks like.”Support the build and maintenance of key analytical services and business offerings, and own the “definition of done” for analytical outputs and user storiesLead implementation best practices to help business teams, analysts and data scientists accelerate innovation, using modern cloud, big data, analytics & AI-accelerated frameworks.Contribute to proposals and pre-sales: shaping analytics workstreams and opportunities, estimating effort, defining team shape, and articulating delivery approach.Support the development of reusable assets (advanced analytics guidance, hypothesis testing frameworks, reconciliation packs, migration playbooks, etc.).Act as a role model for consulting behaviours: curiosity, clarity, pragmatism, integrity, discipline, and client empathy.Who are you? Experience: You should be a highly analytical problem solver that is able to see the “bigger picture” when gathering requirements, analysing processes and workflows and designing system solutions.You should have significant experience leading analytical product delivery in complex, technical environments (3+ years of multi-team, multi-domain, high governance).You have a track record delivering analytical and associated technical outcomes on modern platforms (cloud DWH/lakehouse transformations, major reporting migrations, or enterprise BI modernisation).You have strong experience with migration validation / reconciliation, data controls, and “go-live readiness” for advanced analytics.Proven ability to lead and mentor analysts, and to work effectively with data engineers and architects to deliver shared outcomes.Experienced in building a trusting relationship with business users, commercial partners and technical teams at all levels.Core Skills Advanced analytical, SQL and python skills.Strong data modelling understanding (dimensional modelling; familiarity with Data Vault concepts a plus).Strong BI/analytics experience (advanced analysis, dashboarding, semantic modelling, stakeholder storytelling).Able to manage conflicting ideas and provide clarity and focus through excellent written and verbal communication, to technical and business stakeholders alike.Familiar with best practice in cloud and big data & analytics knowledge concepts such as enterprise MI, distributed data processing, streaming, modern data warehousing and DataOps.Can lead delivery iteratively in a highly connected environment using agile principles such as sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives.Qualifications & certifications: Data analysis such as in SQL or Python, or relevant degree.Visualisation and analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Dataiku or AlteryxRelevant data engineering / data scientist certification on AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake or Databricks.Qualified SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, etc.(desired) Cloud architecture in AWS or AzureTechnical toolkit:Modern Data Warehousing: Fabric, Lakeformation, Snowflake, Databricks or equivalent on AWS, Azure or GCPTransformation / analytics engineering: dbt (or equivalent), CI/CD, code review practicesObservability: Airflow / ADF / Dagster (or equivalent)BI / semantic layer: Power BI / Tableau / Looker; tabular models / metrics layer conceptsData governance & metadata: catalog/lineage tooling, access controls, data classificationAgile toolsets: SharePoint, Confluence, DevOps JIRABenefits Along with a great company culture, Credera provides an exceptional compensation package including a competitive salary (£65,000-£80,000) and a comprehensive benefits plan.
