The role is located in Shoreditch, London.What You’ll Be DoingThis role gives a great opportunity to combine your Product skills with technical data processing skills. You will get familiar with all key products at Wise, understand the business and the Treasury function.The Ledger Team Ensures That Ledger Data Is Accurate And Timely. This Enables The Treasury Team To Properly Manage Liquidity And FX Risk. Working With Various Stakeholders (Product Managers, Engineering Teams, Finance And Treasury Controllers), You WillBe hands on ledger data maintenance and data management - data analysis, data cleanups, automations and documentation.Build data control models to ensure our ledger data is accurate.Hunt down, investigate, and explain any discrepancies or anomaliesAssist in implementing new Wise products and FX financial instruments into our ledger, ensuring they accurately represent the true and fair view of liquidity and FX exposure.Work and collaborate with other Treasury analysts in FX Risk, Liquidity, Safeguarding, Cash and Asset Management, as well as the Data Science team.Who You Are2-4 years of experience in similar rolesStrong analytical abilityAdvanced SQL skillsPython/RData visualisation and storytelling abilityAbility to self organise and manage stakeholdersDemonstration of impact/going above and beyond basic role requirementsDesirableDBTData modelling in a warehouse contextSome accounting notion or experienceLegally authorised to work in the UKSome important stuff we would like you to knowTo meet our regulatory obligations as a licensed financial services company, Wise needs to conduct background checks on all new hires, which in the Finance team includes Criminal and Credit checks.
