Whether that’s timely and accurate reporting to perform critical controls, or investigations into inefficiencies and improvement areas in our liquidity system, data performs a central role in optimising our team’s decisions and processes.Job DescriptionWe’re on the hunt for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Liquidity team in London.You’ll be part of a team that fundamentally powers the Wise product and mission!What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll be one of the owners of Liquidity’s core data models, ensuring data and analytics assets are accurate, comprehensive, discoverable and leveraged by finance and product teamsYou’ll derive actionable insights from Treasury’s data to inform product decisions, from adjusting pricing on a product to reflect cost more accurately to designing controls for risk mitigation in stressed scenariosYou’ll work with other analysts, data scientists and engineers to improve the Tech and processes that power liquidity management at WiseYou’ll partner with Product Managers, Controllers, and other Analysts to set KPIs and KRIs for Liquidity and monitor the impact of new product features on risk and liquidity availabilityYou’ll need to build relationships with teams across the company, from finance and engineering to our customer support, operations, design and moreWho You AreAdvanced SQL skillsPython/R for data manipulation and analysisExperience building data pipelinesStrong analytical thinking and ability to translate business requests into clear analytical problemsData visualisation and storytelling abilityUnderstanding of stats and statistical modelling (measures of central tendency, understanding of variance and testing, some regression modelling)3-5 years experience in similar rolesAbility to work autonomously and partner with stakeholdersProactive individual who drives continuous improvementDesirableDBT experienceFamiliarity with ledgers or other financial dataExperience deploying code changes via Git-based workflowsSome important stuff we would like you to knowTo meet our regulatory obligations as a licensed financial services company, Wise needs to conduct background checks on all new hires, which in the Finance team includes Criminal and Credit checks.
