We give you the chance to learn by doing, to grow, and to develop.Your Role: As a Senior Databricks Engineer / Senior Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing advanced data solutions for our clients. We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative Data Engineer to lead our clients into the next era of data engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing our clients' new reporting and analytics platform, which is based on the cutting-edge Medallion architecture. Working closely with a team of architects, you will contribute to the development of mature CI/CD processes and ensure that the platform is built and managed in an Agile manner.The platform itself is built on Azure components, with a Databricks layer on top that utilizes Delta Live Tables. A team of BI experts leverages Power BI for data visualization. Together with these experts, you will be at the forefront of facilitating the business with state-of-the-art data products, ensuring that our client is AI-ready and able to make data-driven decisions that help our clients organization solve important problems. Your expertise will be essential in architecting, building, and optimizing the Databricks environment, ensuring it meets the high standards of performance, reliability and scalability.Responsibilities:Design technical implementations based on business requirementsManage Azure components, including Key Vault, Gen2 Storage, and Azure ADImplement advanced ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and Delta Lake.Conduct data modeling using SQL in NotebooksDevelop and manage data flows built in DLT (Delta Live Tables)Schedule jobs using DB WorkflowIntegrate with Power BI and Delta SharingCollaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver data products and insights.Ensure data quality and integrity across all datasets and processes.Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline data workflows.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Databricks infrastructure and applications.Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.Stay updated with the latest advancements in Databricks and data engineering technologies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of five years of experience in data engineering, with at least three years focused on Databricks.Proven expertise in building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks.Strong experience with Delta Lake, Spark, and Python.Proficiency in (T)-SQL and data modeling techniques for example: 3NF, Ensemble, Dimensional.At least 3 years of recent experience with Medallion Architecture.Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, particularly within Azure DevOps.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead projects and mentor team members.What We Offer:Extensive training and courses for personal and professional development.A competitive salary with comprehensive benefits.Mobility budget.Monthly internet allowance.Hybrid working options.Laptop and phone reimbursement.25 vacation days per year.Our Culture: At Data Tribes, we prioritize safety and comfort, ensuring you feel as at home as in your favorite hoodie.
