Senior Azure Data Engineer (Databricks), Germany, Hybrid - Full Time Role.A key client of mine is hiring for a Senior - Azure Data Engineer to join there team, you will be tasked with designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native data platforms using Azure Databricks and modern Lakehouse architecture.You’ll build high-performance data pipelines, enable advanced analytics, and support AI-ready data solutions.What You’ll Do:Design and implement Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) Lakehouse architecture.Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory & Databricks (PySpark).Develop batch & real-time pipelines with Delta Lake & Structured Streaming.Migrate and modernize on-prem SQL workloads to Azure.Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.Deliver optimized data models & dashboards in Power BI.Enforce data governance, quality, and performance best practices.Key Skills/ Experience:10+ years in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing.Azure Databricks & PySpark.Azure Data Factory.Azure Synapse Analytics.Azure SQL & ADLS Gen2.Deep understanding of dimensional modelling (Kimball).Strong SQL & performance tuning skills.Azure / Databricks certifications a plus.German native speaker and a good English speaker.Could this role be of interest to you?
