Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the following locations : DublinSalary: €57,600 - €86,400 + performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.Working Pattern: 12 month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options availableThe roleWe are seeking a Data Engineer to support the build‑out of curated, reliable, high‑value datasets within our Databricks Lakehouse environment.This role focuses on transforming, structuring, and modelling data across the Medallion layers (bronze → silver → gold) to enable analytics, reporting, and operational use cases.It is not a reporting or visualisation role — it is a hands‑on modelling and pipeline design position aligned to the architectural principles used across CDP.You willBuild and maintain data pipelines across bronze, silver, and gold layers, ensuring progressive enhancement of data quality according to Medallion architecture principles. Design and implement robust logical and physical data models (e.g. dimensional modelling). Design transformation logic from raw to structured, business-ready gold datasets to support analytics and domain consumption. Collaborate closely with vendors, TPO, management, product, data architecture, engineering, and analytics teams to ensure end‑to‑end alignment of data models with business needs. Apply and maintain data quality, lineage, and governance across Medallion layers, adhering to organisational standards. Contribute to best‑practice documentation, modelling standards, and architectural patterns for Databricks pipelines. You haveExpertise in SQL (optimised joins, complex transformations), data modelling, analytics. Hands‑on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and ELT/ETL orchestration. Strong understanding of dimensional modelling, fact/dimension structures, Experience working with cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP). and metadata practices.
