A Global semiconductor giant based in Amsterdam are seeking to bolster their team with a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer.Please note this opportunity is based on-site in Amsterdam and requires rights to work in the Netherlands in place before starting.Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with machine learning research teams to implement novel algorithms, run experiments, and build research-focused software tools.Partner with both research and product stakeholders to transition AI models from prototype to deployment on embedded devices.Drive rapid prototyping, large-scale experimentation, and fast iteration while maintaining high standards for code quality, efficiency, and maintainability.Contribute to system-level design and engineering efforts that enable research innovations to scale into production-ready solutions.Support the end-to-end lifecycle of ML research, from exploratory development through optimisation and commercialisation.Requirements:Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience using PyTorch for training, evaluating, and iterating on deep learning models.Solid understanding of machine learning workflows, including experimentation, metrics evaluation, and training pipeline optimization.Experience with model optimisation techniques such as quantisation, and familiarity with performance–accuracy trade-offs.Working knowledge of C++ and exposure to Android development and/or embedded computing platforms.Background in software engineering best practices, including testing, debugging, and collaborative development in distributed or multi-site teams.If this role is of interest please apply directly on LinkedIn or send a copy of your CV to alex@eu-recruit.com.By applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
