Job TitleSenior Manager Data Analytics & Governance, Hospitality BusinessPurpose of the roleThis role is responsible for the governance, management, and effective use of data within the Hospitality Business Unit (HOS), supporting analytics and data monetization in line with strategic business priorities.The Senior Manager, leads and coordinates initiatives to ensure data is managed and used as a strategic business asset. The role connects business priorities with data and technology capabilities to enable data‑driven decision‑making and deliver measurable business value through data governance and analytics.Main Responsibilities Data Strategy & RoadmapDefine and execute the Data & Analytics strategy in collaboration with the Head of the Data & Analytics (D&A) Office, aligned with the Hospitality Business Unit vision and objectivesDevelop and maintain a roadmap for data governance and analytics capabilitiesPrioritize initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes Data GovernanceDefine and implement data governance frameworks (roles, processes, and policies) across HOS functions (Commercial, Product, Operations, Engineering) in close alignment with the Amadeus Data Office (ADO) and Data & Technology Services (DAO/DTS)Lead data quality management, metadata, and data catalog initiativesEnsure compliance with data standards, privacy regulations, and security requirements, while assessing and piloting artificial intelligence (AI) and automation solutions to improve data stewardship efficiency Analytics & Insights EnablementEnable and support adoption of self‑service and advanced analytics use cases across HOSIdentify and scale high‑impact analytics and AI use cases that improve operational efficiency and decision‑makingPromote repeatable and sustainable analytics processes within the Business Unit Stakeholder EngagementAct as a trusted advisor by clearly communicating the value of data initiatives to business and technology stakeholdersFoster a data‑driven culture across the Hospitality Business Unit Data Foundations & Analytics DeliveryServe as the primary point of contact for data‑related initiatives within HOSEnsure initiatives align with strategic goals and deliver tangible outcomes, identifying and helping resolve conflicts early through structured governanceFacilitate workshops and progress reviews with both business and information technology (IT) stakeholdersAbout The Ideal CandidateBachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience; data or business specialization is valuedSignificant experience (typically around 10 years) in data governance and data management roles, ideally within hospitality, travel, or technology environmentsProven experience defining data strategies and aligning data priorities with organizational objectives in complex, federated environmentsStrong knowledge of data governance, data management, analytics, and automation platforms (e.g., Collibra, Databricks, Snowflake, SAP BW/4HANA, Power BI, Qlik Sense, SAP Analytics Cloud, Copilot Studio, Power Automate)Fluency in English is required; Spanish is desirableWhat We Can Offer You💰 A complete rewards offer - Amadeus provides attractive remuneration packages, covering all essential components of a competitive reward offer.🌎 A truly global DNA - Everything at Amadeus is global, from our people to our business, which translates into our footprint, processes, and culture.🎓 Great opportunities to learn - Learning happens all the time and in many ways at Amadeus, through on-the-job training, formal learning activities, and day-to-day interactions with colleagues.🤗 A caring environment - Amadeus fosters a caring environment, nurturing both a fulfilling career and personal and family life.
