We're seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of AI and machine learning initiatives across our data science organisation, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver GenAI, LLM, agentic frameworks, and NLP-driven features that power our AI platform.You'll partner with the Director of Data Science, Manager of Data Science, and technical leads to translate AI strategies into executable delivery plans. We're dedicated to fostering an inclusive, purpose-driven, and innovative work environment where everyone belongs.ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end delivery of data science initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and releasePartner with product managers to translate product requirements into executable delivery plans for data science teamsCollaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, data engineers, and analytics teams to coordinate cross-functional initiativesManage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projectsDrive delivery using agile methodologies, ensuring transparency and predictable outcomesEstablish clear governance, reporting, and communication across technical and business stakeholdersProactively identify delivery risks and work with teams to resolve blockers and maintain momentumTrack and report on delivery metrics, milestones, and outcomes to leadershipSupport planning and prioritisation activities with the Director of Data Science and technical leadsContinuously improve delivery processes and ways of working within the data science organisationQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience5+ years of experience delivering technical projects in software or product-led organisationsStrong project management skills, including scope, schedule, risk, and stakeholder managementProven ability to work effectively with engineering and data science teamsExperience working in agile environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)Understanding of AI/ML development lifecycle, including model development, evaluation, and deploymentFamiliarity with data science terminology and workflowsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with intellectual curiosityStrong communication and collaboration skills across both technical and non-technical teamsExperience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)PreferredExperience delivering AI/ML or data science projectsUnderstanding of modern ML technologies including large language models, NLP, and generative AIFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience working with data engineering and analytics teamsProfessional project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master)EEO StatementiCIMS is a place where everyone belongs.
